Serving the Catholic Community at the University of Toledo
Catholic Bible Study
Format
Corpus Christi's weekly Catholic Bible Study (CBS) meets on Monday evenings throughout the calendar year at 7:30 p.m. in the Daily Chapel.  Sessions typically conclude around 9:00 p.m.  UT students and permanent community members are welcome to participate by reflecting upon the Scripture passages to be proclaimed at Mass on the coming Sunday in order to better prepare for the Eucharistic Celebration.

While some historical and cultural background is provided regarding the assigned Scripture passages, the session often takes the form of faith-sharing, as participants comment on the personal significance of words and situations recorded in the Sacred Scriptures.  CBS participants wholeheartedly attempt to draw spiritual lessons for everyday life from the Scriptures proclaimed at the liturgy.
