Sacraments
“The seven Sacraments touch all the stages and all the important moments of Christian life: they give birth and increase, healing and mission to the Christian’s life of faith.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1210
We have a rich liturgical and sacramental life here at Corpus Christi. Whether your children need sacramental preparation or you are looking to enrich your spiritual journey, we are pleased to help you and your family enter more fully into the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)
If you are interested in becoming Catholic, we invite you to join CCUP’s R.C.I.A. program. R.C.I.A. is a process in the Church where, through intellectual formation and liturgical rites, you learn about the Catholic Church and ultimately decide if you want to fully enter the Church at Easter with the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. Classes at CCUP begin in mid-September and continue weekly on Sunday’s at 9:30 a.m. Contact Kim Kunkle if you would like to be added to our R.C.I.A. contact list.
Infant / Child Baptism
If it is your desire to have your child baptized at CCUP, please call the parish office or email Fr. Jeremy to check date availability. If this will be your first child being baptized, a Baptism preparation class will be required before the sacrament takes place.
